I’m thrilled to share with you an exciting new event happening at City Place: Hot Nights, Cool Grooves. This complimentary summer concert series is your perfect Saturday evening plan, running from 6 to 9:30 pm. Picture this: a beautiful waterfront setting at City Place Park, vibrant live music, and a whole lot of fun!
What to Expect
Every Saturday, you'll enjoy back-to-back performances from some of the best regional artists across a variety of genres. Here’s the lineup:
July 6:
- 7-8 pm: Tomar & The FCs (soul band from Austin)
- 8:30-9:30 pm: Bayou City Funk (Gulf Coast Fusion)
July 13:
- 7-8 pm: Grupo Ace (norteño band from Houston)
- 8:30-9:30 pm: The Tiarras (Latina power trio)
July 20:
- 7-8 pm: Micah Edwards (retro soul performer)
- 8:30-9:30 pm: Kam Franklin (Houston legend)
July 27:
- 7-8 pm: The Turnaways (high-energy rock)
- 8:30-9:30 pm: Sweet Crude (pop band from New Orleans)
Extras to Enjoy
Along with the fantastic music, there will be plenty of pop-ups throughout the series, including:
