I love to provide valuable information to my buyers and sellers, and something equally as important to me, is providing valuable information to those I have yet to meet. Today I was playing around in my “Google Search Console”. One thing that popped up that users had googled that led them to my page was the phrase “does kb homes pay closing costs”. And while I know the thought of closing costs, and saving up the money to cover those expenses weighs heavily on the shoulders of buyers and potential buyers, this new found fact got me thinking I should put together a new post that educates users (of Google), as well as potential buyers, which local builders help their buyers with closing costs. (Please note, that in order to receive closing cost assistance from the builder, you must use their preferred lender for the transaction.)
And the first builder that comes to mind is LGI Homes.
1. LGI HOMES
LGI Homes is famous for helping renters become buyers. But they are building their homes with everyone in mind. I love that about them. They truly care about providing value that buyers can afford. They offer homes ranging from $166k – $356k.
Also to note, is that they don't just help with closing costs, but they have lenders that cater towards $0 down payments, and they love working with real estate agents. Chesmar has five inventory townhomes left in Woodridge Forest (in Porter). They are all priced at $226,000 and Chesmar is offering $8,000 in closing cost assistance.
7. Century Communities, Westin Homes, KB Homes, Darling Homes, Meritage Homes, K. Hovnanian Homes , Infinity Classic Homes, Colina Homes, and D.R. Horton.
These builders historically have offered decent amounts of closing costs in past transactions. I am pretty confident I could obtain a decent amount of incentives in their neighborhoods with higher levels of inventory. I will also contribute $1000 to any purchase from a home builder from above when the purchase price is over $250,000, and you mention this blog post! 🙂
