Hi sweet friends,
I’m so excited to finally share an updated list of all the A-rated schools in the Houston area.
For several years, a lawsuit has blocked the release of TEA (Texas Education Agency) school ratings, making this post a long time coming. I know many of you have been waiting for it. During that time, I did my best to stay on top of the case… and even had the opportunity to speak with local representatives, which was both new and interesting for me.
But maybe TEA ratings are new to you. You may have been relying on sites like Niche or GreatSchools instead. While those platforms can be helpful, TEA ratings determine state funding and are the only school ratings based solely on standardized test data.
So, without further delay, here are all the high schools in the Houston area that received an A rating…
Note: Many of my blog posts had links to “homes for sale.” My website search.byjoandco.com is no longer active thanks to the platform forcing me to change my domain name, and me refusing to pay them for this forced change… So I will be using my har.com/jordanms for all “homes for sale” recommendations. I probably have 250,000 links from my old website, that I won't be able to update. I hope you understand. But if you want home recommendations, I recommend just emailing or texting me, and I can personalize all recommendations to your exact needs. Thank you, Jordan.
