– Know Kajun Asian On Wheels: This truck blending Asian & Cajun flavors is a must-try. Everything on their menu is unique and packed with flavor, they serve loaded fries, bowls, tacos, and more! Link.
– Mary's Street Food: Fun & creative food with a menu full of variety, there’s really something for everyone here. They’ve got a great breakfast menu that’s available all day, a ‘Mex Menu’, unique burgers & sides, and a kid’s menu. Link.
– Dracula’s Chimney Cakes: A place everyone needs to experience, they make unique food & desserts with their method of spinning dough in a helix to make a cylinder and filling them with all sorts of goodies! Link.

– Cowboy Tacos & Burgers: American & Mexican food serving, burgers, tacos, loaded fries, tortas, quesadillas, and more. On Friday they have some great tamales for sale! Link
– Mexi-Rican: Blend of Mexican & Puerta Rican flavors, offering large portions packed with flavor. Their loaded rice, Lucy tacos, and empanadas are a few must-tries! Link.
– Taco Tijuas: Mexican food, specializing in tacos. They also serve Birria & quesadillas, as well as family packs where you can get a huge amount of food for a very good price! Link.
Places To Experience
– Historic Downtown Conroe: This town has a wonderful vintage feel with much of its original architecture still intact. You can find many boutiques, restaurants, and even museums along these historic streets!
– 7 Acre Wood: A great kid-friendly place where you can interact with animals in the petting zoo, play mini golf, or try out the zip line. If you go on Saturday or Sunday they offer pony rides for the children!
– North Lake Conroe Paddling Co.: If you’re visiting Conroe you’ll most likely want to experience the lake, and a great way to do that is on a kayak. This company rents out Kayaks for great prices and also does guided tours to help you explore!
– B.E. Winery: This 15-acre vineyard surrounded by piney woods has some stunning views, and of course amazing wine. Plus it’s located in Historic Downtown Conroe!
– That Escape Place: Now that Escape rooms are gaining more popularity they seem to be popping up everywhere, but this location offers recently expanded & updated rooms with the highest ratings in the area. It’s a great activity to do with friends or family!
Parks to Visit
– Lake Conroe Park: A 13-acre park right on the lake with fishing piers, barbecue pits & picnic tables, and a roped-off beach entrance swimming area. This park is perfect if you’re wanting to enjoy the water!
– Lone Star Monument & Historical Flag Park: This is a great park if you enjoy history as it showcases 13 flags from the 1830s Texas Revolution. In the center of the park is 14 foot “Texian” sculpture made by a local artist!
– Carl Barton Jr. Park: There’s much to do at this 201-acre park, they have soccer & baseball fields, a large pond for fishing, a covered playground for the kids, and a few nature trails!
– W. Goodrich Jones State Forest: One of the largest urban forests in the nation, this location features many trails to explore, a few picnic areas, and 2 lakes!
– Candy Cane Park: I’ve saved the best for last with this park. This 24-acre park offers multiple playgrounds and an aquatic center, if you have kids they’ll be in heaven here. And if you need to relax there are picnic areas near the aquatic center, and some calming trails to walk through!
Movie Theaters for those Rainy Days
– The Grand Theatre 14 – Conroe: This is a super fun & colorful movie theater. In the lobby you’ll find a big arcade area with lots of games, a classic concessions area for popcorn, candy, drinks and quick hot bites, and a super cute Tiki Bar where you can get fun drinks before your movie begins.| Link.
– Star Cinema Grill: A fabulous dine-in movie theater with an extensive menu & full service bar, it truly elevates your movie experience.
