Here at Jo & Co., we love exploring the surrounding communities and today we are looking at Monty's Lighthouse Cajun Bar & Grill! This great place is serving up Cajun flavors overlooking Lake Conroe. We love the food and the view.
With the name “Monty's” representing the city name Montgomery, they have a heart for the city and people in the community. They wanted to bring Cajun flavor and boy did they bring it. Their goal was to create a place for the people to share with their family, friends and visitors so they can get glimpse of what Montgomery has to offer. Serving Cajun seafood along with American dishes with a sweet Texas touch, you can tell they are passionate about their mission and food they serve. Using only fresh, quality ingredients, you are able to taste the grand flavors that are offered. The service is prompt and friendly which is always a great thing.
We decided to sit outside for a nice view of Lake Conroe, even though it was a tad gloomy, it was still nice and peaceful to hear the water of the lake. We ordered the shrimp platter and Cajun mac & cheese and they were so delicious! They serve seafood, burgers and sandwiches, jambalaya and Cajun creole, pasts and po-boy's, along with salads and soups and even a raw oyster bar! Don't forget about dessert, as they have a great selection of a dessert menu.
