WHY PEOPLE LOVE BRAZOS VILLAGE IN RICHMOND TX

Where is Brazos Village:

Brazos Village is located near Richmond, in the gorgeous Brazos county of Fort bend. Brazos Village is a great community located on FM 762 RD at the corner of Highway 6. Brazos Village is minutes from I-69 and only 15 miles East of downtown Houston. The Lamar Consolidated School District and all the wonderful Houston area has to offer are just around the corner from Brazos Village.

People living in Brazos Village love this neighborhood because it is a family-friendly neighborhood that offers a wide range of amenities in a convenient setting. The location of the community makes it easier for parents to commute their children to school every day since it is within the LISD boundaries. Aside from being located in a neighborhood where shopping and dining opportunities are easily accessible, the area also offers a number of entertainment options. Residents of the area have access to public parks, a world-renowned library, and recreation centers all over the city. Thus, residents can remain active throughout the day by participating in a variety of park- and leisure-related activities. It's no wonder residents enjoy living here!

Brazos Village is a beautiful family-friendly subdivision. Numerous local amenities are available in this community, which makes it a great choice for families. Active residents can take advantage of onsite amenities that include gated access, swimming pools, and other modern amenities. Brazos Village is surrounded by over 40 acres of lush landscaping, including walking trails and nature preserves. You can stroll leisurely through the gardens in the spring and enjoy the open spaces in the summer and fall. In addition, Brazos Village is also conveniently located near major highways making travels to nearby towns an effortless feat! In addition to nearby highway access, residents can reach more than 50 unique retail shopping destinations including First Colony Mall and Willowbrook Mall.

District Rating:

A | Lamar CISD has an A rating overall, Lamar CISD campuses are designed with smaller enrollments (high schools are designed for no more than 2,000 students) to provide more opportunities for students to assume leadership roles and participate in campus activities. Lamar CISD also has sixth grade-only campuses (middle schools) which focus on the needs of pre-adolescents, providing a smooth transition to secondary schools. Lamar CISD is home to National Principals of the Year, Gates Millennium Scholars, National Blue-Ribbon Schools, Rodeo Art Grand Champions, State Athletic Champions and a recent member of the comptroller's Honors Circle for financial and academic excellence. Lamar CISD has also passed four bond referendums over the past 15 years, while maintaining one of the lowest tax rates in the Houston area.

Nearby:

Being only 14 minutes from downtown Richmond and 43 minutes from downtown Houston gives you a lot of options. For your convenience, there is a Target located just outside of the neighborhood as well as a Whole Food Market and Kroger. There are many restaurants in the surrounding areas. Less than 20 minutes away is Cullinan Park that offers hiking and picnic areas on a more than 750 acres of prairie and woods. Also within about 20 minutes is Constellation field, where the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, Houston Astros triple-A affiliates play.
