Oak Ridge North is a city in Montgomery County, Texas. It is located along I-45, 10 miles south of Conroe and 35 miles north of Houston. The neighborhood is located right beside The Woodlands, one of the most sought-after Houston suburbs. Oak Ridge North features traditional homes, tree-canopied streets, and distinct hometown feel.

Oak Ridge North is a charming community where people enjoy a high quality of life. The City is the most desirable location within the Greater Houston region because it offers an exceptional location, spectacular schools, and a large shopping center with specialty stores and national brand names. Oak Ridge North also has several parks for youngsters to enjoy playing in, such as the Pavilion Park and Pool, tot-lot playgrounds, tennis courts and plenty of room for walking and biking. Oak Ridge North offers many amenities for residents to enjoy. Marilyn Edgar Park features volleyball, basketball, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a ball field right in the neighborhood. Teddy Bear Park contains playgrounds and water fountains amongst other things. There are plans underway to build a town center featuring a plaza area and an urban park. Along with all of this, there are numerous shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities nearby as well as various schools including Houser Elementary School, Oak Ridge Elementary School, Irons Junior High School, and Oak Ridge High School.
District Rating in Conroe ISD
A+. Conroe ISD has mostly A rated schools & are a big reason why people choose to live in areas that are served by this district. They have overall A’s for academics, college prep, clubs & activities, sports, administration, and teachers.
Nearby:
All of your favorite grocery stores such as Kroger, Walmart Superstore, Target, H-Mart Katy, The woodlands mall, and H-E-B is just short drive out of the neighborhood. Oak Ridge North maintains several community amenities. Residents living in the area are served by The Woodlands College Park Elementary, Oak Ridge Elementary, and Franklin Middle located within the Piney Point Village Subdivision. College Park High School is considered the zoned high school in the area. Along with these public schools, Academy for Inquiry & Creativity and South County Secondary Alternative also serve students living in this area.
