I know that there are so many to choose from in the Houston area, and I know there is one that perfectly fits your needs. WHY PEOPLE LOVE WHISPERING LAKES IN KATY TX
Where is Whispering Lakes:
Located in Katy, TX off of Avenue D and is only minutes away from I-10 & 99 with easy access to Downtown Houston, TX. Whispering Lakes is near the Green Meadows Golf Club and Katy Mills Mall.
Why folks choose Whispering Lakes:
This is a beautiful master planned community that provides a slew of waterfront homes and larger lots with every homesite. Whispering Lakes is a small, tucked away enclave of a little over 50 homes which began building in 2002 just off Avenue D, Whispering Lakes is central to everything in the heart of Old Katy. Houses in this neighborhood typically range between the mid-200s to the high-300s and have healthy square footage – averaging four bedrooms and three bathrooms with an overall living space of about 3,600 square feet. The neighborhood features two stocked lakes in the center of the development.

Mary Jo Peckham Park is a recreational area with a vast number of free amenities available to Harris County residents. In addition to the frequently stocked fishing pond with surrounding trail & picnic areas, the park boasts a community center with aquatic/fitness facilities, playgrounds and a miniature golf course. The Club at Falcon Point offers a private setting, rich in tradition where you may enjoy golf, tennis and camaraderie with a personal level of attention to service. The spacious clubhouse has a comfortable informality that is conductive to daily dining in The Point Bar & Grill. Throughout the clubhouse, Members have access to well-appointed locker rooms and the golf pro shop.
District Rating:
A+ | Katy ISD has an A+ rating overall, with ten elementary schools, five junior high schools, and three high schools named in the overall top 10 schools for the entire Houston Area. Katy ISD is also in the top 1% of all school districts in the United States ranking #180 out of 10,758 districts. Parents and students love the schools and there are no schools in Katy ISD that have less than a B rating. Katy ISD is a flourishing suburban school district that encompasses 181 square miles in southeast Texas. Its eastern boundaries stretch to Houston's energy corridor approximately 16 miles west of downtown Houston and extend along Interstate 10 to a few miles west of the city of Katy.

Within close proximity, you have access to Lifetime Gym and VillaSport Athletic Club & Spa – with an exclusive and all-inclusive feel that you'd love. You also have access to major grocery stores such as Kroger, a neighborhood Walmart and H-E-B, Target and even Trader Joe's. With Whispering Lakes being just slightly west of Grand Parkway Highway 99 you have endless options in any category within a short and easy drive. A beautiful YMCA center (Monty Ballard YMCA at Cinco Ranch) is also just east of the neighborhood, in addition to the zoned schools being all within a square of Whispering Lakes. making for simple and quick family friendly access just within reach. Located minutes away is La Centerra at Cinco Ranch, which is a huge upscale outdoor hub for shopping, dining, and entertainment, it also has a large green space where frequent events & festivals are held. Nearby is also Katy Mills Mall, Whole Foods, Costco, Kroger, Trader Joe's, Aldi, HEB, and so much more.
