This beautiful area had been developing fairly quickly into a new & exciting place for work, play, and residential opportunities. There's much to be talked about when it comes to City Place, and I plan on sharing it all, but today I wanted to specifically go over the festive things to see & do there during the Winter season!
Let Them Eat Gnome Cake in Spring TX
Common Bond Bistro & Bakery has a variety of tasty holiday treats available both in-store and through pre-order this winter. From festive classics like Panettone and Bûche de Noël (Yule logs), to reindeer cakes, snowman cakes, apple pies, and a gnome-themed layered cake that comes in three different flavors.
Elf on the Plaza in Spring TX
The popular children’s series celebrates its winter edition and welcomes a twin pairing of Elf on a Shelf, Friday, December 17th at 5:30 p.m. Kids can get photos with the famous elves and score some complimentary candy canes. Then enjoy a complimentary showing of “Home Alone” 7 free popcorn for Family Movie Night at 6:45pm. Space is limited so be sure to RSVP to [email protected]
Tacos on the Naughty List in Spring TX
Torchy’s Tacos features a taco of the month, and in the spirit of Christmas this month's taco is called the “Naughty Santa,”. Available all this month, this delicious taco contains a mix of grilled shrimp, chorizo, pickled onions, jack cheese, avocado, cilantro and poblano.
Life-Size Gingerbread Village in Spring TX
You can see City Place’s life-size Gingerbread Village all the way through January 7. It features a gumdrop, lollipop and candy-cane-lined path guarded by two giant gingerbread men, leading to a 16-foot-high gingerbread house, and a 12-foot windmill. You'll be taking Insta-worthy pictures the whole time, both you & the kids will be amazed!
Star Cinema Grill in Spring TX
What better way to have a fun outing while still avoiding the cold weather than going to check out the latest movies in the most impressive theater? Star Cinema Grill has a many new premieres this month, including Spider-Man No Way Home on December 17 & The Matrix Resurrections on December 22. The best part about this theater is that you can enjoy a wonderful meal & drinks served to you while watching your movie, be sure to check out their holiday drink specials, available Sundays through Thursdays.
