Hi there. Going to see a movie is such a great & easy way to get out of the house, and is the perfect rainy day activity. So today I wanted to share with you a list of the awesome movie theaters to be found in the Katy area!
Star Cinema Grill | LINK
A fabulous dine-in movie theater with an extensive menu & full service bar, it truly elevates your movie experience. They have servers that take your order discretely, so you can enjoy a delicious meal & cocktails while watching your movie. They offer the classics like popcorn & candy as well. The seats are large & super comfy, with convenient tables for dining.
Alamo Draft House Cinema LaCenterra | LINK
Stylish theater that features cocktails & creative bites served seat-side while you enjoy your movie. They have a full, multi-course menu where every meal is prepared from scratch, and luxury leather reclining chairs in every auditorium. In the lobby there's a full service bar, western installations, as well as an open air patio with seating.
AMC Katy Mills 20 | LINK
Located in Katy Mills Mall, this theater feature signature reclining chairs and you can select your specific seat when ordering your ticket online. They have a large concessions area where you can get popcorn, candy, hotdogs, and other food options, and since it's in the mall you can shop or walk around while waiting for your movie to start.
Cinemark 19 and XD | LINK
Classic movie theater chain with a concession area where you can get popcorn, candy, hotdogs, and other quick bites. They have very comfortable seating and self-service ticketing kiosks. There's an arcade area, as well as a coffee bar where you can get Starbucks drinks & Bluebell ice cream.
Xscape at Katy Fulshear | LINK
This is a great newer theater that features electric leather recliners for every seat in all of the auditoriums. They have a classic concessions area where you can get popcorn, candy, nachos, and other yummy food. They also serve beer & wine that can be taken into the movie with you.
Regal Grand Parkway ScreenX & RPX | LINK
Fabulous and very impressive, new theater with 4 different screens – 4DX, ScreenX, RPX & VIP. The 4DX showings are definitely something to be experienced, the seats move, there's water & air features, and even smell features all based around the movie you're watching. They have a concessions area, coffee bar, arcade, and a stylish bar that serves beer, wine, & cocktails.
