I know that there are tons of neighborhoods to choose from in the Houston area, but I also know there is one that perfectly fits your needs. Each suburb, city, and neighborhood has so much to offer. WHY PEOPLE LOVE SUNTERRA IN KATY TX
Where is Sunterra:
Located in Katy, Texas a few miles north of Interstate Highway 10 and west of the Grand Parkway 99 Toll on Clay Road near Buffalo Bayou.
Why folks choose Sunterra:
Sunterra is a 1,039-acre master-planned community in the highly desirable Katy area with approximately 2,200 homes, as well as a 3.5-acre resort-style glistening white-sand beach Crystal Lagoon. Sunterra has lakes, parks, playgrounds and an expansive Amenity Village with a clubhouse and a pool overlooking the lagoon. The Sunterra community was developed by Land Tejas. Land Tejas is one of the most prolific developers of master-planned communities in the Greater Houston area.

Sunterra offers their residents an amazing array of master-planned amenities. Their world class amenity is their Crystal Lagoons. Roughly the size of four NFL football fields, the expansive lagoon has white-sand beaches, turquoise blue waters, kayaking, swimming, and stand-up paddle boarding. Sunterra also has a beautiful expansive Amenity Village with a fun interactive clubhouse, sparkling lakes, parks, playgrounds and a pool overlooking the lagoon.
District Rating:
A+ | Katy ISD has an A+ rating overall, with ten elementary schools, five junior high schools, and three high schools named in the overall top 10 schools for the entire Houston Area. Katy ISD is also in the top 1% of all school districts in the United States ranking #180 out of 10,758 districts. Parents and students love the schools and there are no schools in Katy ISD that have less than a B rating. Katy ISD is a flourishing suburban school district that encompasses 181 square miles in southeast Texas. Its eastern boundaries stretch to Houston’s energy corridor approximately 16 miles west of downtown Houston and extend along Interstate 10 to a few miles west of the city of Katy.
