    Today I wanted to share with you all things Spanish Grant, Galveston TX. Keep in mind each suburb, city, and neighborhood has so much to offer. I know that there are so many to choose from in the Houston area, and I know there is one that perfectly fits your needs.     WHY PEOPLE LOVE SPANISH GRANT IN GALVESTON TX

    Where is Spanish Grant:

    Spanish Grant is located in Galveston Island, Texas. Spanish Grant is on Galveston’s West End with properties on both sides of FM 3005, on Galveston Bay and the Gulf of Mexico Beachfront. Spanish Grant is located just 3 miles east of Galveston Island State Park.

    Why folks choose Spanish Grant:

    Spanish Grant is a charming and cozy, longtime established (well before the ’90s) West End Galveston beach village with three rows of beach homes. At Spanish Grant, the idea is to enjoy island living and cast your cares to the wind. Nature is one of the main reasons folks choose to call this community home. A nearby state park has plenty of walking and kayaking trails to enjoy.

    Amenities in Spanish Grant:

    The biggest perk of Spanish Grant is being on an island! The beach specifically in Spanish Grant is not a drive-on beach, which is strongly appreciated by the residents who enjoy running or walking their pets. There is three dune crossovers to access the beach. A great place to visit within distance is Galveston Island State Park and Nature Center. Amazing for a hike or bird-watching expedition. Pack up the cell phone and break out the grill because the island life is calling.

    District Rating:

    B | Galveston ISD is B rated and is a public school district in Texas, established in 1884, that serves nearly 7,000 students. Its 12 Schools of Choice campuses consist of traditional and theme-based schools, charter schools, STEM programs, magnet schools, and a mega-magnet high school. The district’s mission is to Educate, Engage and Empower EACH student for a life of Excellence. Galveston ISD is proud to announce that the district has been awarded a rating of ‘A’ for ‘Superior Achievement’ regarding the quality of its financial management and reporting system. The Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) has given Galveston ISD the highest possible score of 100 for the 2020-2021 school year.

    Residents can enjoy popular attractions like Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens or Schlitterbahn Waterpark. For shopping head down to the East End of the island to check out Galveston's Historic Strand District. Highly rated restaurants in the area include Mario's Pizza, Tipsy Turtle, Woody's Bar, Watermen's Bar & Grill, and Hummel's Deli. Residents have gas stations and grocery stores within 3 miles!
