The Woodlands, Texas, is primarily located in Montgomery County, with portions extending into Harris County. The city is located off I-45 about 28 miles north of Houston. Within The Woodlands TX, there are eight villages, which are subdivided into neighborhoods. Each village has various amenities, including parks, bike and hike trails, golfing, commercial centers, and residential properties ranging from single-family houses to estates. In addition, The Woodlands has been rated as one of the most prestigious rankings in its history as it was named the Best City to Live in America, according to Niche.com.

School District Rating in The Woodlands:
A+. Conroe ISD has mostly A-rated schools & which is a big reason why people choose to live in areas that are served by this district. They have overall A’s for academics, college prep, clubs & activities, sports, administration, and teachers.
A Rated | Tomball ISD rates in an A in all sectors, from academics to diversity, college prep, and clubs/activities. Tomball ISD houses 19 schools within its district: eleven are A-rated, and seven are B-rated. The schools that received the highest designation schools are Creekside Forest Elementary School, Creekside Park Junior High, Decker Prairie Elementary School, Oakcrest Intermediate, Northpointe Intermediate, Tomball Intermediate, Tomball Memorial High School, Tomball Star Academy, and Willow Wood Junior High School.
B-Rated | Magnolia ISD rates in an A in teachers, diversity, and college prep. The mission of the Magnolia Independent School District is to provide an educational environment that will enable all students to develop essential academic skills for a lifetime of learning and to prepare students to be responsible, contributing citizens in a diverse and changing world.

In The Woodlands, you'll find many dining options including Babin's Seafood House, Twin Peaks Shenandoah, Pallotta's Italian Grill, Morton's Grille, and many more. You'll also find a selection of parks and trails to explore, including Marilyn Edgar Park, Jagged Ridge Park, Rockwell Park, Bear Branch Park, and Tamarac Park. For your day-to-day needs, there are regular grocery stores such as H-E-B, Target, and Whole Foods Market. If you want to stay active or enjoy some water activities on the weekends, there are two boat houses where you can rent rowboats or even kayaks such as the Riva rowboat house and Lake edge boat house.
