Here at Jo & Co., we love exploring what is around in our communities, and I found a winner! Waffles, donuts and coffee with protein!? Sing me up! This local protein bar & studio offers so much value if you want to stay and chat or if you're in a rush. The moment you walk into, you feel like you belong and the owner is lovely to talk to! If you're looking for yummy eats while still hitting your protein, this place is for you!
The energetic and lively atmosphere of the space certainly compliments the food that is made. Your mouth will be watering while deciding what to order. Fear not! I have tried the Bubble Waffles, protein shakes and donuts and you can't go wrong with any of those. I've never experienced any desserts so carefully crafted to perfection and taste (and protein). The service is also really quick and proficient when it comes to making your food. You see the whole process from start to finish.
Along with being a protein bar, Algoo Buenoo is also a studio! They hold Zumba classes here to get your heart rate up. You always see nutrition shops and you always see workout studios, but this is the first time for me seeing them combined! This genius idea blends the best of both worlds so right after a workout, you're able to replenish with a protein shake or treat! Each 1-hour Zumba class is only $5 and are offered Monday through Thursday at 7PM with 8:30AM classes offered Monday and Wednesday mornings.
If you're in need of an afternoon pick me up, grab one of their energizing teas. Or, if you need something sweet, definitely go with the Bubble Waffle and the tasty toppings. This is also a great place to get those aesthetically pleasing pictures for those instagram posts.
