Places To Experience
Marsha's Zoo – Marsha's Exotic Animal Petting Zoo has been serving Texas and surrounding states for over 25 years. They offer a variety of packages for celebrating the Nativity, including trackless train camels, donkeys, goats, and costumed handlers that can be booked for parties and other events.
Big Rivers Water Park – At Big Rivers Water Park, you can find all kinds of water attractions–including slides, an outdoor maze, and shallow areas in the pools that are great for toddlers and young kids.
Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center – The Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center provides a great escape, offering miles of grassy areas for picnicking and relaxation, as well as trails for hiking, fishing in a lake.
Gater Bayou Adventure Park – At the park, there are thrilling water slides in the pool and on the lake, as well as a farm. There is also a zip line that you can try for a different view of the park and for even more exciting fun for everyone!
Children’s Museum Houston – The museum offers over 90,000 square feet of interactive exhibits, with a virtual ambulance children can operate, a lot covered with artificial snow, and more.
Emerald Lake Naturist Resort – Emerald Lake Resort is a friendly lakeside destination offering a year-round naked experience on 21 acres of parkland in beautiful surroundings. It’s a welcoming and relaxing place for those who like to be nude in various forms including swimming, fishing, camping and paddle boarding.
Purgatory Scream Park – Come see the top-ranked haunted house, which is the biggest in Houston. It's a 30-40 minute walk through haunted house that features Kill Count, Dredzo, Lester the Jester, Bendy and more.
Parks To Visit
Rustling Elms Park – TThe park is a great place to spend time with friends. There's a playground where kids can enjoy themselves, walking trails, a gazebo where you can sit down and have lunch or snacks, and plenty of tables and chairs for picnics.
A.V. ‘Bull' Sallas Park – A splash pad, swings and playground equipment can be found at this park as well as barbecue pits and a pond where picnics can be enjoyed. There are also restrooms and showers in this park.
Cumberland Crossing Park – This is a friendly neighborhood park where you can enjoy weekend with kids or picnic and grill with friends. Theres a playground for kids to enjoy. There are beautiful flowers and its clean, so you can have a picnic there.
Lake Houston Wilderness Park – The park features over 20 miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails that wind through 4,786.6 acres oof wooded parkland. This scenic area is great for experiencing nature and wildlife.
Brookshadow Park – This is a huge area for kids to play in the playground and for them to run around. It is also a great place for friends to have a picnic together.

Fuddruckers – Family-friendly chain for burgers on housemade sesame seed buns, plus salads & shakes.
Skeeter's Mesquite Grill – Family-friendly spot for mesquite-grilled burgers, Tex-Mex plates, salads & weekend breakfasts.
