Hi friend,
A couple times a week, I get the chance to hop on the phone with someone that has never been to Texas before, and I get to answer their questions in relation to all things relocating to Texas and all this Houston suburbs. These phone calls last somewhere between 35 minutes and 55 minutes. Well there have been some questions that get asked over and over again, and because I am from here, they don't seem like a big deal to me, but it dawned on me this week, that I should be turning these repeat questions into blog posts and videos. So welcome to a little series where I answer some of your most asked questions.
I am moving to Texas, should I worry about tornados?
Many folks have been asking me about tornados here in Houston and Texas. I have no personal stories when it comes to tornados. So, before writing this post, I was trying to track down some tornado spottings, but they are few and are between. I personally think worrying about tornados should be the last thing on your list, if they are at all.
It is worthy to note, that we have gotten some tornado watches and warnings, but nothing that created real damage. And as I write this blog post, I am hoping I don't jinx us. 2020 was an insane year for abnormal weather, and I am hoping 2021 doesn't follow in the same suit.
