Hi friend. Katy has some really great neighborhoods, so today I'd like to go over them and share all that they have to offer. If you're planning on a move to Katy, this list should be super helpful!

Cane Island – Stretching across 1,100 acres of prairie land, Cane Island offers incredible new homes from the $400s to the millions in Katy, Texas, just three minutes from I-10, on the edge of Houston’s Energy Corridor. Amenities are beyond amazing! A rated schools, a lap pool that is heated year round, fitness center & a yoga + spin studio, “The Lawn” where you can enjoy live music, roasting s’mores by the fire pit, movie nights or an impromptu soccer game.

Seven Meadows – The landscaping in Seven Meadows, the convenient location along Grand Parkway & Westpark Tollway, affordable property tax rate, on-site schools, coupled with the amenities: golf course, tennis courts, club house, fitness center, playgrounds, parks, and swimming pools, are just some of the reasons locals call this neighborhood home! It truly is an established community with lots to offer.

Cinco Ranch – If you are looking for the most established neighborhood in Katy, then Cinco Ranch is the neighborhood for you. The history of Cinco Ranch goes back to February of 1984 when the largest raw land transaction in the history of Houston took place when Cinco Ranch Venture purchased Cinco Ranch, a 5,000 acre property. Over the years the land acquired for Cinco Ranch grew to about 8,092 acres making it one of the largest master planned communities in Houston. Cinco Ranch has over 11 community pools, a golf club, an 18-hole golf course, countless pocket parks, a network of greenbelt trails for hiking, biking, walking and jogging making it possible to get just about anywhere via this trail system, tennis courts, South Lake and Park Lake, a 40,000-square-foot YMCA, and so much more.

Elyson – This master planned community has much to be desired. They have what they call the ‘Elyson House' which is the focal point of the neighborhood & full of state of the art amenities. There's a large fitness center open 24/7, a game room, playground & splash park, resort style swimming pool, event lawn, tennis courts, and sports fields. Best of all you have your own full service restaurant on site, the Elyson Café. There's also 5 pocket parks & miles of trails to explore.

Firethorne – Firethorne is a 1,400-acre master planned community, just one mile south of I-10. The amenities include 150 acres of parks, lakes, playgrounds, a resort style swimming pool, splash pad, tennis court, nature areas, hike and bike trails, and indoor exercise facility and so much more! Its location, amenities, and beauty attribute to its popularity.

Grand Lakes – This established community began its development back in the 1990s as a premier master planned community of Katy. Today it still reigns as one, along side Cinco Ranch in distinguish and geography. If you are looking for an established neighborhood made up of cul-de-sacs, lakeside views, central parks, and award winning schools, this community might be the one for you! Grand Lakes houses The Grand Lake Swim Team, three swimming pools, a splash pad, tennis courts, multiple playgrounds, walking and biking trails, beautiful landscaping, a dog park, and a community garden.

Kelliwood – Kelliwood is a very established neighborhood of Katy. it was one of the first master planned communities in the area. There are many sections of Kelliwood featuring homes of every style & price range. The home here were typically built in the late 80s-2010s.

Lilac Bend – Located in north Katy, specifically in Old Towne Katy bordering Mary Jo Peckham Park. It's a newer neighborhood by great schools. There's currently 15 new construction homes being offered.

Nottingham Country – A very established community of Katy, and highly sought after. Amazing schools & beautiful tree lined streets. It's very much like Kelliwood, but has easier access to i-10. The homes were built in the 70s and 80s, with lots of character and no two homes being alike, low HOA dues at $300, a monthly newsletter, a very dedicated HOA board, and of course friendly neighbors. We also have a pool, eight tennis courts, a community center and a great park with a walking track. Our community-oriented MUD is exclusive to our neighborhood, and we have constables that patrol 24/7. Additionally, we host a variety of community events throughout the year.

Tamarron – This master-planned community is conveniently located in the Katy-Fulshear area. Guests and homeowners are welcomed into Tamarron by grand water fountains and lush landscaping that leads to exciting amenities including a clubhouse, fitness center, splash pad and pool, playgrounds & eight miles of walking trails. Just a few miles from I-10 and the Westpark Tollway, Tamarron offers an easy commute and numerous shopping and dining options.

Woodcreek Reserve – If you are wanting to live among the most beautiful oak trees, then look no further than Woodcreek Reserve. One-third of this community is dedicated to a nature reserve which includes a recreational center with a pool, cabanas, playground, sport fields, stocked lake, picnic areas surrounded by old oaks, tennis courts, a greenbelt system connecting homes & the 100-acre park. There's also over one mile of wooded nature trails that weave along Buffalo Bayou, three neighborhood parks, a half basketball court, a putting green, and a sidewalk system connecting the neighborhood to nearby schools.

Young Ranch – Situated in the City of Katy just south of I-10 is the new home community of Young Ranch. It’s a place where neighbors and families flourish and where scenic walking paths and the sparkling pool beckon you to soak up the sun. A place where you'll find new homes with today's latest design trends and the features you long for. Now is the time to visit and discover the childlike excitement of living young. Welcome to Young Ranch.
