Hi friends, today I'd like to talk about the small agricultural and quiet city of Fulshear. With a population of 12,213 it's easy to feel right at home here in this city full of history, and you don't need to venture far out to find lots of exciting things to do or fantastic places to eat!
Places To Experience in Fulshear
Fulshear Farmer’s Market: Open from 9 AM to 1 PM, this market offers everything from fresh fruits & vegetables all the way to hand made soaps & organic wines. They’ve got a wide variety of local vendors and are pet friendly as well!
Pedego Electric Bikes: This bike store offers hourly rentals of electric bikes so you can tour the city while getting some fresh air. If you’re wanting a more active day and to enjoy the outdoors then this is such a fun option!
Adventure Island Waterpark: Water activities are always a a good choice when you’re in the Texas heat. At this water park you’ll get to swim in their huge resort style pool or lay out on their shaded deck. There’s splash pad for smaller children & a 140 foot slide!
Sonoma Wine & Cheese: For a more adult day or night out you can come and enjoy their weekly changing wine list. You can order a wine flight where you get to sample 4 wines of your choice and they have a ‘build your own’ charcuterie board feature as well!
Katy Paint & Pottery Studio: Here you have the option of doing a painting or pottery class, no matter what level your artistic abilities are at you’ll leave here with a masterpiece thanks to the great teacher. Adults & children are both welcome, and if you’re 21+ you can bring your drink of choice to sip on while creating your art!
Parks to Visit in Fulshear
Jones Creek Ranch Park: This 112 acre park features walking trails, playgrounds & a pool, and open sports fields. There’s also a small lake with a dock for fishing!
Fulshear Bend Pocket Park: Very kid friendly, this park has new & creative playground equipment and a mini put put course. They also have a large covered area with picnic tables and a small basketball court!
Arbor Park: Here you have tennis & basketball courts and a disc golf course, along with multiple walking trails. You can walk a scenic trail on Flewellen Creek and there’s a playground as well for the kids to enjoy!
Fort Bend Mud Recreation Park: This park features some really fun playgrounds, most of them being covered so children won’t get too over heated. There’s picnic tables under a nice pavilion eating or just relaxing
Restaurants in Fulshear
Molina’s Cantina: Long running, family owned Mexican , very trendy interior.
Yen: Japanese cuisine offering hibachi seating and an outdoor patio, modern & new fell inside.
Texas 202 BBQ: Classic barbecue, has a menu full of variety and great reviews.
Pier 36 Seafood & Oyster Bar: Extensive seafood menu and fun frozen drinks, stylish & casual atmosphere.
Local Table: New & chic family friendly place with a unique menu of healthy & flavorful dishes, vegan options as well.
Dozier’s BBQ: Their menu offers a wide variety of premier smoked meats, including brisket, pork ribs, chicken, sausage, bacon, and jerky.
Essence House Café: The menu features a wide variety of breakfast options, gourmet sandwiches, soups, salad, and more, with the perfect ambiance and generous portion.
Victor’s Mexican Grille: They serve authentic Tex-Mex with wide rabge of option for food such as enchiladas, fajitas, flautas, and more!
Hacienda Real Mexican Grill & Cantina: This is a family operated restaurant. Their menu features traditional Mexican dishes as well as dishes with a classic Tex-Mex.
Little V Vietnamese Bistro: Family-owned restaurant serving up traditional Vietnamese dishes. They have an extensive menu from their appetizer, sandwiches, dessert and more!
Pepperoni's – Fulshear: Serving fresh pizzas, wings, & salads. Offering vegan & gluten-free options. Focused on quality ingredients since 1990.
Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers: This is an American fast-food restaurant chain specializing in chicken fingers.
