My name is Jordan Marie Schilleci, but all my favorite people call me Jo. I started in real estate about 10 years ago and have lived in multiple suburbs around Houston. I was born here and am so blessed to call it home. But the “we” I typically throw around is my husband Edward and I.

Where to Live in La Porte in 2025
- Battleground Estates | Link to Homes for Sale – An established neighborhood with occasional new construction. Most homes are built on oversized lots.
- Bay Front to La Porte | Link to Homes for Sale – An established neighborhood with bay front lot options and bay access. (There is currently a home for sale in this neighborhood with 286 feet of water frontage on over an acre of land, a 130-foot pier, a private boat ramp, a nine-car garage, and even a helicopter landing pad.)
- Lakes at Fairmont Greens | Link to Homes for Sale – A quaint neighborhood with newer homes.
- Fairmont Park | Link to Homes for Sale – An established neighborhood with many updated and remodeled homes. It is located near the Kemah Boardwalk with easy access to restaurants, entertainment, and shopping.
- Greendale | Link to Homes for Sale – A newer neighborhood with new construction options.
- La Porte | Link to Homes for Sale – There are lots of great homes for sale in the city of La Porte that aren't part of a planned community including a handful of new construction homes.
- La Porte Outlots | Link to Homes for Sale – If you are looking for an established area of La Porte with large lots, La Porte Outlots could be a great option for you.
- Morgan's Landing | Link to Homes for Sale – A lovely master-planned community with newer homes. The community is complete with a clubhouse and outdoor amenities.
- Pecan Crossing | Link to Homes for Sale – A La Porte neighborhood with homes from the 90s and 2000s.
- Shady Oaks | Link to Homes for Sale – A La Porte neighborhood with homes built on larger lots.
- Shady River | Link to Homes for Sale – A La Porte neighborhood with homes built in the 1960s and 1970s on slightly oversized lots.
- Shoreacres | Link to Homes for Sale – One of the first neighborhoods in La Porte with homes dating back to the 1950s. Lots were slightly oversized.

Once you have narrowed it down to one or two homes, we start the offer writing process, which is another place I shine. Over the last 10 years, I have established a good reputation with listing agents, and I love this communication process. Once you are under contract on a home, I will navigate you to the closing table, starting with a reputable home inspection recommendation.
