Bludorn Restaurant – At this restaurant they serve dishes that are influenced by the freshest seasonal ingredients and flavors from around the world. For starters, order the charred octopus or a Tarte flambee. They also have a flavorful seafood tower that is to-die-for!
The Original Ninfa's on Navigation – This popular Tex-Mex restaurant has earned fame for inventing fajitas. Make a meal of its signature dish, plus queso flameado and mango-habanero margaritas to get an authentic Houston taste.
Aiko – Try some of the restaurant's tasty bites, like the trumpet mushroom, foie gras, engawa, or smoked sawara (Spanish mackerel) nigiri.
Uchiko – They offer tasty dishes such as Hama chili, crispy karaage (Japanese fried chicken), high-quality sushi, and refreshing sunomono. Their gyutoro maki is made with wagyu short rib that's been cooked for 72 hours.
Flora – This is an attractive, casual restaurant that has a variety of Mexican flavors with a Houston flair. Here, you'll find delicious tacos, charred octopus and chorizo, a sirenly yellowtail ceviche negro made with squid ink, and their version of tender fajitas, plus the best margarita in the city.
Squable – The atmosphere is casual and cozy at Squable, a popular neighborhood restaurant that serves casual European fare with American influences. Dishes range from small plates to large; consider the bolognese lasagna with pickled collards, or the restaurant's famed French cheeseburger, which is smothered in raclette cheese.
Feges BBQ – They offer a wide variety menu which includes boudin, brisket, and pulled pork. What sets them apart from other barbecue restaurants is that they offer dishes beyond the usual barbecue staples.
Truth BBQ – There’s nothing quite like Truth BBQ, which has been billed as one of the top barbecue spots in the state and has a pitmaster from Brenham who smokes meat with a backyard flair. The restaurant also serves up an array of side dishes, including trays full of meat and bread.

Eastie Boys – This truck has a menu with mostly loaded fries and creative sandwiches. Their most popular items are the Sabotage, No sleep 'till Philly, and spinach artichoke grilled cheese!
MadMax BBQ – Barbecue style food with tons to choose from like ribs, brisket, turkey legs, gumbo, boudin, and so much more. You'll definitely want to try the MadMax Mac Attack Potato, Mac n' Brisket, and the Mac Daddy Sandwich!
Muiishi Makirritos – Japanese & Mexican fusion food truck with very unique options. Some top things to try are the Japanese Pastor Torta, Gochujaang Barbacoa Birria Tacos, and Kakuni Burrito!
Taconmadre – Mexican cuisine with a large menu with all of the classics like tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, tortas and more. They have an amazing breakfast menu as well!
Wokker – A modern style food truck with Asian & barbecue flavors. There's many creative dishes here like brisket pad Thai, brisket egg rolls, and smoked chicken fried rice!
Stuff'd Wings – A one of a kind wing place where you build your own stuffed wings. You choose what they'll be stuffed with and the sauce. Stuffing includes dirty rice, seafood or chicken boudin, or mac n' cheese!
Soul Taco – Tacos with a soul food twist. You can get breakfast & vegetarian tacos here as well, and you have the option to build your own tacos!
Main Bird – The best hot chicken around. You can choose your heat level, they have sandwiches, tenders, and amazing sides. Definitely try the Cluck it Up Fries!

Houston's Museum District – The Museum District is one of Houston's greatest cultural attractions, with 19 museums in the area. Eleven of these are free to the public. Highlights include the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Also in this area is lovely Hermann Park, with its Houston Zoo and Miller Outdoor Theatre.
Museum of Natural Science – The Houston Museum of Natural Science is one of the most popular museums in town. Fun for all ages, it covers a wide range of topics and is sure to please everyone in your group. Be sure to swing by the Hall of Paleontology during your visit to see several complete dinosaur skeletons. For something that's still alive, tour the Cockrell Butterfly Conservatory, where nearly 1,500 butterflies flutter around in humid air.
Houston Zoo – The Houston Zoo sits on 55 acres in Hermann Park and is home to more than 6,000 animals. The zoo has an education center and children's zoo. Some of the highlights include feeding the giraffes, seeing marine life up close in the aquarium, and watching sea lions and otters frolicking about.
Museum of Fine Arts – The museum, boast more than 63,000 pieces in its collection, is housed in two structures: the Audrey Jones Beck building and the Caroline Wiess Law Building, both connected by the unique Wilson Tunnel. The museum's focus is French and Italian impressionist paintings, fine sculptures, and European and American decorative arts.
Space Center Houston – This is a huge complex, where you can walk through the replica of Independence and the enormous carrier aircraft it's mounted on. The visitor center includes replicas of America's first space station and moon rock. Astronauts can be met at noon Fridays in a separate building from the main complex. A tram tour of Johnson Space Center takes you to Rocket Park to see actual rockets on display.
Houston Children's Museum – The Houston Children's Museum is one of the amazing places to visit in Houston for people with young kid. Inside the colorful, noisy museum, kids can run wild and have a fun time getting busy with all the hands-on and interactive displays.
Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park – The Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park is a lovely Houston park that features an impressive sculptural fountain, with sheets of water cascading down concrete walls and sculptures. The structure's semi-circular shape towers 64 feet above you, with a large arch and 46,500 square feet of water. This 2.77-acre park, covered with dozens of live oaks, is located in Uptown Houston.
Art Car Museum – The Art Car Museum, which opened in 1998, has attracted Houston residents since it first opened. The cars and exhibits change regularly, so you'll never quite know what you will see.
Parks In or Near 77070
Champion Forest Park
Champion Forest Park is a 7.3 acre facility featuring a 0.3-mile looped trail, three soccer fields, a restroom, picnic tables, a parking lot, and a playground. The park will eventually connect to Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve and Cy-Champ Park.
Matzke Park
Matzke Park, is a 19.4-acre facility, includes a multiuse trail with water fountains, rest room facilities, one cricket field, an all-inclusive barrier-free playground, two picnic pavilions, one gazebo, and a butterfly and sensory garden.
Cy-Champ Park
Cy-Champ Park is located along Cutten Road with the park’s entrance and parking from Hargrave Road. This long narrow park features a 1.5 mile linear nature trail, with a loop on each end, which is ideal for jogging and casual strolling. The trail includes distance markers and weaves through the woods for welcome shade. For additional family enjoyment, Cy-Champ Park offers a children’s playground at the park’s entrance. Water fountains are available, but no restrooms.
100 Acre Wood Preserve
Precinct 4’s 100 Acre Wood Preserve contains nearly two miles of trails through rolling, forested terrain that connect with the nine-mile Cypress Creek Mountain Bike trail system in northwest Harris County. The preserve currently features a one-mile, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible paved trunk line trail that extends from the existing Cypresswood Hike & Bike Trail at Cypress Creek and Jones Road to the YMCA facility at SH 249.
Buffalo Bayou Park
This is a 160-acre green space running through the city. The park has extensive walking and biking trails, as well as a dog park, sculptures and plenty of shady areas for relaxation.
Hermann Park
Hoston’s Hermann Park offers lots of opportunities for recreation—from the gorgeous Japanese Garden, Miller Outdoor Theatre and the totally cute Hermann Park Railroad.
San Jacinto Park
There are a lot of great things to do at San Jacinto Park. You can take a stroll through the grounds and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Not only that, but there’s history in this park too! The San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site is right here, which has a museum and monument to visit.
Evelyn’s Park
This 5-acre park hosts food trucks and farmers markets, plus yoga classes, concerts, and other fun events.
Buffalo Bend Nature Park
Built in 2016 from the remains of a tall, grassy hill, this 10-acre park features reconstructed wetlands that mimic the original landscape of the area, pre-industry. It offers visitors a totally different view of Buffalo Bayou.
