The bad news is time flies. The good news is that you're the pilot.

Hello friend. Happy new year to you and your family. Personally, I am so excited to welcome 2023 into my view. Last night, with the fireworks popping, I wrote down my goals, and one of those goals is to write to my kids each day.
Last week I was on Amazon looking for a journal for the new year, and I stumbled upon these journals by Chronicle Books. Essentially, it is a five-year journal with dated micro-sized entries. I ended up buying one for each of my little kids, and one for my husband. My plan is to micro-journal to them every day for five years. If you are curious about which journal I picked up for me, I purchased this journal in black, olive green, and leather brown. And no, I have no clue what I am going to use 2 of them for.
2020 was a year in which I couldn't catch my breath: both in real estate and personally. Like many others, we lived through a lot of change, including the loss of our son, and an unexpected surge in new clients. 2021 was a year of massive growth within our business and even found our groove in helping families relocate to the Houston suburbs. 2022 gave us moments to reflect and catch our breath, as well as question everything we believed. It was a weird year. But in 2023, I am expecting nothing but great things. I am bringing insane amounts of positivity and I even have a new grandbaby that I plan to pretend is mine during outings, Lol.
When looking at current and historical data, we can see a slowdown in most cities, with Montgomery, Texas, being the only city to see an increase in sales when comparing the last 90 days to this time last year. In this blog post, which I am featuring below, you will discover the 10 most popular suburbs of Houston in 2022, as well as, see the full comparison for 11 cities with now and then data.
And if it wasn't apparent, yes this is the first edition of something brand new I am introducing in the new year, which is my 1st & 15th newsletter. I look forward to pouring my heart and soul into this newsletter, and I hope you enjoy it. If not, please feel free to unsubscribe.
Okey, so one last thing I wanted to throw your way… Edward (my husband) and I just started playing pickleball, and y'all, it is SO much fun. I highly recommend it, if you are trying to stay active in 2023. I am already addicted! And I promise the letter from the realtor, won't be this long in future editions. Best wishes & hugs.

We currently have 11 active listings and 3 pending listings. Today I have two features. Follow this link to see all of our listings.
One, is our new construction listings by Alta Homes. These homes are on the outskirts of Conroe, Texas, and within the neighborhoods of Cedar Crossing and Deer Trail Estates. Both boast low taxes, affordable living, and country air.
And our second real estate feature, are two listings of a dear friend of mine. These two homes are move-in ready (there are 4 off the market currently for sale), new construction, and can be found in the community of Legends Ranch. They zone to three amazing schools, Birnham Woods Elementary, York Junior High, and Grand Oaks High School. The tax rate is only 2.56%, the community is gated, and many of the homes have no back neighbors. Please reach out if you would like more information or if you would like to start touring homes.

V: Volatility in the Market
E: Equity + ROI
We hope to publish all of our findings on the blog later this week. So be sure to stay tuned!

As we enter 2023, it is important to remember some fine words first spoken by Chris Grosser, “Opportunities don't happen. You create them.” So let's all create our own opportunities in 2023, and let's let nothing hold us back.
Thank you so much for allowing me to be your friend and resource. Oh, I almost forgot to ask, what are your plans and goals when it comes to buying/selling in 2023? Hugs.
