Hi friends, today we went to go see the new developing neighborhood The Meadows at Imperial Oaks. You will find new construction in the back and if you are looking for a new build, there are a variety of floor plans to choose from.
Located about 15 minutes off 1-45, this neighborhood has easy access to shopping, dining, entertainment, and easy access to get downtown. You won't find a lot of traffic in this quiet area as it is tucked away, which is one of the things I appreciated. It is tucked away to get away from the noise but it has easy access to a multitude of necessities.
Driving into the community you are greeted with a charming waterfall neighborhood sign. One of the first things I noticed driving into this community is that it is very walkable for those with an active lifestyle! Sidewalks are located on either side of the roads throughout the whole neighborhood. Walk (or drive) on over to the lake to enjoy some peaceful moments.

Stopping at the lake to enjoy the view, I was greeted by a group of friendly ducks making their way over to the other side of the grass. Located at the edge of the lake is a playground for children. It is equipped with slides, bridges, monkey bars, and climbing walls for the kids (or adults) to get their energy out. A few feet away from the fun of the playground is a pavilion, overlooking the lake. Here you have the opportunity to host gatherings or just sit in the shade and read a book. Sitting next to the playground is the clubhouse, where you will find the recreation center and pool with lounge chairs.
A few of the surrounding restaurants include The Toasted Yoke Cafe, Bulldogs Pizza, and Tewbeleaux's Grill. You will also find plentiful grocery shopping nearby at Kroger, H-E-B, and Aldi. If you have children interested in sports, there is Woodlands Elite Cheer Co., Flips Gymnastics, Scrap Yard Sports, and Bang Elite Sport Taekwondo.
