The Woodlands West of Missouri City is located in the 77489 zip code of Fort Bend County. You can easily access Highway 90, Sam Houston Tollway, and Fort Bend Parkway. Additionally, it takes only 25 minutes to get to downtown Houston, making it an easy commute for residents.
Why folks choose Woodland West:
People love to live in Woodland West because it is a great place to call home. Situated along the Northwest area of the city, Woodland West is close to all the perks around the area. There's a marina nearby for those who like boating and fishing. There are great schools nearby, as well as a lot of dining and retail options. If you love to spend time outdoors, there are many options including some nearby parks, playground, and golf courses.

There are seven parks available for residents to enjoy, as well as a number of amateur sports fields and courts. Additionally, there are several outlets within the community's vicinity and a number of major attractions are within easy reach. As well as nearby major malls such as First Colony Mall and Sugar Land Town Square.

The district scored 92 points out of a possible 100 rating points, and this is FBISD’s 17th Superior rating. Fort Bend County is one of the fastest growing counties in the nation. As the largest school district in the county, Fort Bend ISD is an outstanding K-12 public education system. The District is Texas’ eighth largest with more than 77,000 students and one of the most diverse in the nation. Working and learning cohesively alongside families who speak more than 90 languages and dialects, the schools work together with students, their families and the community to address each student’s unique needs. FBISD currently has 81 campuses: 11 high schools, 15 middle schools, 51 elementary campuses and four specialty schools to address the academic and vocational interests of students. With more than 11,000 full-time employees and substitutes, the District is the largest employer in Fort Bend County. Fort Bend ISD is committed to its mission to inspire and equip all students to pursue futures beyond what they can imagine.
