Where is Bear Creek Village:
Bear Creek Village is a community in Katy, Texas, located in Northwest Houston. Bear Creek Village is conveniently located along major roads and freeways. The neighborhood lies east of Highway 6 and Grand Parkway, west of Beltway 8 and U.S. 290, and north of Interstate 10. Also, Bear Creek Village is approximately 40 minutes away from Downtown Houston and the affluent Memorial area southeast of the community is less than 9 miles away.
Why folks choose Bear Creek Village:
Many people choose to live in Bear Creek Village because of it's easy access along major roads and freeways. In addition, there are many amenities that make this neighborhood appealing to families. Bear Creek Village is also zoned to Katy ISD which is good for the children. It is also within an area ranked as one of Houston's Best Suburbs based upon community ratings for public schools, affordability, commute time, livability, and amenities. Amenities in Bear Creek Village:
Bear Creek Village features its own community center, 2 swimming pools, and numerous tennis courts. The neighborhood is just right beside the Bear Creek Pioneers Park which features more than 2,000 acres of green spaces, hike-and-bike trails, sports fields, and picnic areas. The upscale Memorial City Mall and City Centre are also a short drive from the community. Bear Creek Village is also served by Katy ISD, including Mayde Creek High School, Cardiff Middle School, and Bear Creek Elementary School.
District Rating:
A+ | Katy ISD has an A+ rating overall, with ten elementary schools, five junior high schools, and three high schools named in the overall top 10 schools for the entire Houston Area. Katy ISD is also in the top 1% of all school districts in the United States ranking #180 out of 10,758 districts. Parents and students love the schools and there are no schools in Katy ISD that have less than a B rating. Katy ISD is a flourishing suburban school district that encompasses 181 square miles in southeast Texas. Its eastern boundaries stretch to Houston’s energy corridor approximately 16 miles west of downtown Houston and extend along Interstate 10 to a few miles west of the city of Katy.

Bear Creek Village location makes it feel like anything you're looking for or in need of is within close proximity. All of your favorite grocery stores such as Kroger, Walmart, H-E-B Plus, 99 cents only store and Whole Foods all just a short drive out of the neighborhood. Bear Creek Village enjoys close proximity to several restaurants, and outdoor recreation such as Typhoon Texas waterpark, Katy Mills Mall and the Katy Visual and Performing Arts Center. This neighborhood is also home to some of the area’s largest and most popular parks and natural observation areas, including the 2,154-acre Bear Creek Park, offering trails, sports fields, picnic areas and tennis courts. Bear Creek Village is 9 minutes away from Energy Corridor and Katy is about 30 minutes from downtown Houston. The community is 45 minutes from both George Bush and Hobby Airport.
