Today I wanted to share with you all things Briarbrook, Brookshire TX. I know that there are tons of neighborhoods to choose from in the Houston area, but I also know there is one that perfectly fits your needs. Each suburb, city, and neighborhood has so much to offer. WHY PEOPLE LOVE BRIARBROOK IN BROOKSHIRE TX

Where is Briarbrook:

Briarbrook is located in Brookshire, Texas off Interstate-10 near the city of Katy. Briarbrook is within easy driving distance of the Energy Corridor, the Grand Parkway 99 and the bustling city of Fulshear. Residents at Briarbrook also have a short commute to all the attractions found throughout Fort Bend County.

Why folks choose Briarbrook:

Briarbrook is a well-established community in Brookshire, Texas. Development in Briarbrook started in 2003 and finished around 2007. This community is in a great location with near cities like Katy and Fulshear. Briarbrook provides residents with a close proximity to the newly expanded Grand Parkway 99, allowing for shorter commutes just under an hour to West Houston’s renowned Energy Corridor, as well as an endless variety of prime shopping, recreation, leisure destinations and activities found throughout the Greater Houston Area.

Amenities in Briarbrook:

Briarbrook features amazing nearby amenities! Residents at Briarbrook can enjoy outdoor recreation at George Bush Park or swing at the Green Meadows Country Club. George Bush Park is a 7,800-acre park located on the far west side of Houston, serves as a major attraction and nature reserve. Green Meadows Country Club features 5,688 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course rating is 66.3 and it has a slope rating of 104.

District Rating:

A | Lamar CISD has an A rating overall, Lamar CISD campuses are designed with smaller enrollments (high schools are designed for no more than 2,000 students) to provide more opportunities for students to assume leadership roles and participate in campus activities. Lamar CISD also has sixth grade-only campuses (middle schools) which focus on the needs of pre-adolescents, providing a smooth transition to secondary schools. Lamar CISD is home to National Principals of the Year, Gates Millennium Scholars, National Blue-Ribbon Schools, Rodeo Art Grand Champions, State Athletic Champions and a recent member of the comptroller's Honors Circle for financial and academic excellence. Lamar CISD has also passed four bond referendums over the past 15 years, while maintaining one of the lowest tax rates in the Houston area.

Brookshire Texas is a city in Waller County with a population less than 6,000 people. Brookshire has a long history of farming and ranching but is now transformed with new economic growth from the westward sprawl of Houston. Near Briarbrook is Ameripark Sportsplex, Mary Jo Peckham Park, Typhoon Texas Waterpark Houston, Buc-ee's, The Cafe at Brookwood, Sam's Club, H-E-B and Whole Food's Market.
