I know that there are so many to choose from in the Houston area, and I know there is one that perfectly fits your needs. Where is Pirates Beach:

Pirates Beach is located in Galveston Island, Texas. Pirates Beach is on Galveston’s West End with properties on both sides of the Gulf of Mexico and Galveston Bay. Pirates Beach is located just 2 miles West of Jamaica Beach and San Luis Pass.

Pirates Beach is a well-established neighborhood in Galveston, Texas developed by George Mitchell in the 1970s. Pirates Beach has amazing nearby amenities and vacation rentals are permitted! Homesites are still available in Pirates Beach. Pirates Beach features over 700 single-family homesites and range of 2,500-3,000 square feet on quarter-acre or smaller lots. Houses in Pirates Beach are priced in the top tier of Bay houses ranging from $200,000s to $2 million+ with a majority of the lots being on the water, with boathouses or docks on canals, lakes or bayous leading into Galveston Bay.

Pirates Beach offers their residents amazing nearby amenities and being on an Island is just one of many of their perks! Galveston Island State Park has activities for everyone on the coast! At Galveston Island State Park you can fish, kayak, hike & bike on local trails, and even camp at one of the 66 campsites. Galveston Country Club is one of the oldest private country clubs in Texas! At Galveston Country Club you can golf, host big events including a wedding, swim in their resort-style pool and even play tennis.

District Rating:

B | Galveston ISD is B rated and is a public school district in Texas, established in 1884, that serves nearly 7,000 students. Its 12 Schools of Choice campuses consist of traditional and theme-based schools, charter schools, STEM programs, magnet schools, and a mega-magnet high school. The district’s mission is to Educate, Engage and Empower EACH student for a life of Excellence. Galveston ISD is proud to announce that the district has been awarded a rating of ‘A’ for ‘Superior Achievement’ regarding the quality of its financial management and reporting system. The Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) has given Galveston ISD the highest possible score of 100 for the 2020-2021 school year.

Galveston Island is one of the oldest cities in Texas! Galveston is filled with rich history and adventure. Residents can enjoy 32 miles of beaches, amusement parks, boutique shopping, and some of the best local dining. Near Pirates Beach is San Luis Pass, Galveston Island State Park, Jamaica Beach, Way West Grill & Pizzeria, Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier, and Bishop's Palace.
