Near Willow Creek Farms is George Bush Park and Green Meadows Country Club. George Bush Park is a 7,800-acre park located on the far west side of Houston, serves as a major attraction and nature reserve. Green Meadows Country Club features 5,688 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course rating is 66.3 and it has a slope rating of 104.

A | Lamar CISD has an A rating overall, Lamar CISD campuses are designed with smaller enrollments (high schools are designed for no more than 2,000 students) to provide more opportunities for students to assume leadership roles and participate in campus activities. Lamar CISD also has sixth grade-only campuses (middle schools) which focus on the needs of pre-adolescents, providing a smooth transition to secondary schools.
