Today I wanted to share with you all things Windrow, Hockley TX. Keep in mind each suburb, city, and neighborhood has so much to offer. I know that there are so many to choose from in the Houston area, and I know there is one that perfectly fits your needs. Where is Windrow:
Located in the growing city of Hockley, Texas, near Grand Parkway 99 and Highway 290, with the Houston Premium Outlet Mall just minutes away and only 36 miles from all the local attractions in Downtown Houston.

Windrow is a master-planned community by Centex and is located in the growing city of Hockley, Texas. Windrow homes range in an assortment of beautiful styles, varying sizes, affordable prices, and range in square footage from around 1206 to 2606 square feet. The community offers rural serenity with plenty of conveniences right at your fingertips. Windrow is located in the popular Cypress corridor. The community provides excellent access to the wonderful Zube City Park and Splash Pad for recreation as well as several major highways.

Windrow residents can enjoy the great outdoors at Zube Spray Park and City Park offering multiple playgrounds, miles of beautiful nature filled walking trails and plenty of green space for soccer games, picnics or events. Adjacent to the park is the Houston Area Live Steamers’ 6-mile mini railroad where they provide free 15-minute rides to the public every 3rd Saturday of the months March thru November. Crystal Falls Golf Club is the is the local golf club to Windrow. Crystal Falls Golf Club is an impressive 18-hole golf course that tests golfers of all ages and skill levels. Crystal Falls Golf Club is also home to the Hill Country Amateur which is one of the top amateur events in the area.

District Rating:

B+. Waller ISD is one of the largest school districts in total square miles of land mass in the Greater Houston area. Waller ISD provides high-quality instruction and educational programs for all students to enhance their knowledge and skills. Waller ISD and all eight campuses received the highest Texas Education Agency TEA accountability rating ‘Met Standard.’ Waller ISD provides a number of educational and enrichment opportunities to pre-school and school age children, and a wide variety of adult education programs to the community.
