I know that there are tons of neighborhoods to choose from in the Houston area, but I also know there is one that perfectly fits your needs. Each suburb, city, and neighborhood has so much to offer. WHY PEOPLE LOVE THE GROVES IN HUMBLE TX
Where is The Groves:
“Welcome to the Naturehood!” The Groves is neighborhood full of new homes near Lake Houston with nearly 1,000 acres of wooded land. Located just 30 minutes north-east from Houston's center, it has convenient access to Beltway 8 and Hwy 59 making it the perfect residential getaway even if you work in the city!
Why folks choose The Groves:
The Groves is a unique master-planned community designed to preserve the enchanting pines that create a backdrop for the daily lives of its residents. The neighborhood is located within the acclaimed Humble ISD and has easy access to all that Houston has to offer. The Groves offer many amenities that allow you to unplug and enjoy nature including spots to fish, hike and picnic. This vast change of pace from the city and the lifestyle it lends is what makes The Groves so special!

Amenities in The Groves:
Amenities in The Groves include a Life Style Center which offers a workout facility, splash pad, playground and yard games. There is an amenity center where you can recharge in a resort-style pool, hammock or adirondack chair overlooking Madera Creek. The Mini Groves and Discovery Square are two fun and interactive amenities catered to younger children. There is also “Fish Camp” which is a spot for kids to fish in a catch-and-release pond. There are also two sport complexes; one called the field where residents of all ages can play baseball or soccer and another called the Insperity Adaptive Sports Complex, which is equipped for children with disabilities. The neighborhood has many trails on which there are statues of woodland creatures and picnic locations!
Another cool amenity within The Groves is the “The Yard.” In The Yard, adults can enjoy a beer-garden where they are able to socialize with other adults while the children play in “the root beer garden.”
District Rating:
B Rated | Humble ISD covers 90+ square miles, houses over 43,000 students, and was recently rated a b-rated school district with an overall score of 88%, which illustrates how close they were to becoming an a-rated school district. Out of all the district's campuses, eight received an A, 13 received a B, 16 received a C, four received a D and two received an F. HISD was unable to receive an overall rating of an A because a campus received a rating of D or F, according to the TEA website.
Here is how the district ranked in each individual domain:
Student Achievement: B
This rating is based on how much students know and are able to do at the end of the school year. HISD earned 88 of 100 possible points.
School Progress: B
This rating is based on how students perform over time, comparing their progress to similar schools. HISD earned 84 of 100 possible points.
Closing the Gaps: B
This rating is based on the performance of different populations of students. HISD earned 89 of 100 possible points.

The Grove is conveniently located near the nature-filled fun of Lake Houston while being close enough to the shopping at The Galleria and the business corridors of Houston. This neighborhood is also only 20 minutes got the George Bush International Airport making it convenient if you travel often.
The location of The Groves is close to grocery stores such as HEB and Kroger, as well as shopping centers such as Westlake Marketplace that houses a DICK'S Sporting Goods, Ulta Beauty and James Avery. It is less than 20 minutes from Deerbrook Mall, which is home to a Macy's, Dillard's and JCPenny, as well as many more specialty shops. In this mall area there are many restaurants as well as a Main Event amusement center and the Humble Museum.
