There's a variety of different museums with things that'll appeal to everyone, even the kids. Weather you want to see art, learn a little history, or go to an interactive children's museum, this post has everything you need to find the right museum for you!
The Woodlands Children's Museum | LINK
Located in the Panther Creek shopping center in The Woodlands, They have available children's workshops where the program promotes independent learning and socializing designed for K4-5. If you would like to be with your child they also have available timed sessions where they can dress up, paint, and let their imagination run free!

Fort Bend Children's Discovery | LINK
Located in what was once the town’s Imperial Sugar factory, this children’s museum is filled with activities for kids of all ages. It’s interactive & educational, especially the ‘Kidtropolis’ exhibit where children get to experience living in a city with different jobs & tasks to keep up with. If you have kids you’ll want to bring them here!

Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts | LINK
This fine art museum located in what used to be a county library has beautiful art exhibits, pieces, & artifacts from all over the world. This museum is “non-collecting” so it's exhibitions are only there for a limited time before changing to something different. It's also completely free to go in and appreciate the art, thanks to the support & donations of the patrons.

Tomball Museum Center | LINK
This is a group of historical homes & public buildings from the 1800's, as well as town artifacts & vintage machinery. They're dedicated to the discovery & preservation of all historical memorabilia pertaining to North Harris County, and the tours here are so much fun as well as super educational. During the holidays all the homes & buildings are decorated for Christmas & filled with twinkling lights.

Heritage Museum of Montgomery County | LINK
Located in Conroe by Candy Cane Park, this historical museum features vintage home & building tours, memorabilia, and artifacts, giving a glimpse of just what life was like for the pioneers here in the Montgomery area. You'll learn about local historical figures, flag history, black history, and so much more.

Rosenberg Railroad Museum | LINK
In Historic Downtown Rosenberg, you'll find this in interesting & educational museum all about the Rosenburg railroads, depot, and more. There's so many different exhibits here like Tower 17, 1972 Mopac Caboose, The 1879 “Quebec”, H.O. Layout, and Garden Railroad. They also have a museum gallery, gift shop, and host some fun seasonal events.

Spring Historical Museum | LINK
Old Town Spring is full of history itself, filled with all kinds of shops in original historic buildings, but what a lot of people don't know is that there's a small museum there where you can learn about the history of Spring, which was originally settled in the mid 1800,s by German farmers and has one of the oldest African-American communities.

Art Museum TX – Cinco Ranch | LINK
Located in LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch, this is a contemporary gallery style museum that features art from only Texas artists. It's such a creative & vibrant space, full of all types of art forms like paintings, mixed media, ceramics, sculptures, and so much more. They also offer a variety of different art classes & educational programs.
