Hi there. I would say the most important thing when purchasing a home is having a real estate agent that you trust and taht has your best interests in mind, this will make the home buying experience much easier. But how do you know if you hired the wrong real estate agent? Let's go over some of the signs!
- How fast did they respond to you the first time they reached out to you?
- Is their contact information public?
- They pressure you to sign things you don't want to.
- They treat you poorly when you ask questions about renting instead of buying right away.
- They aren't sharing with you homes they think you might want to purchase.
- They don't want to meet with you. They only want to show you homes.
- Your agent is part time or non-practicing.
- They talk more than they listen.
- They don't answer your questions directly.
- They don't have experience working in the area you are trying to purchase in.
