I know this video might seem a little cliche, but the more exposure your home can get via the online listing, and online exposure in general, the more likely it is that your home will sell faster for more money. And the way one delivers your home to the world is through marketing. So it is very important to hire a brokerage and real estate agent that knows marketing. As one example, it is important to be realistic, and realize that you might not get the same dollar amount as your neighbor down the street, who renovated their whole home from top to bottom, and yours is mostly original. Not decluttering your home. For professional photography to really deliver, it is important that your home shines in the photographs and not your treasures.
