Here at Jo & Co., we love exploring all around the surrounding areas and today we are in Katy, TX! Katy is full of grand places to visit and great things to do and Mary Jo Peckham Park is one of those places! It is filled with so much to do and a space for everyone to enjoy.
Mary Jo Peckham Park is a spacious 32 acre-park that is fitted with a grand playground structure for kids, swings, musical fixtures and even some play structures fitted for toddlers and younger. Right beside the playground, you will find a miniature golf course that you are free to play if you bring your own putter and ball. After exploring the play structures and features, there is a large, covered pavilion where you can enjoy some snacks and drinks and host parties and gatherings.
Past the pavilion, you will find a gravel trail that leads you to a lake and then continues to travel up the lake! This is a very peaceful lake that you are able to fish at too. There is a covered dock sitting out in the water along with other spots around the lake to sit and rest. There are many geese and ducks around the lake, swimming and waddling around. Along with the nice lake, you will also find a six-hole disc golfing course to play too.
This is such a grand park to have a picnic, have your kids roam around the playground area and enjoy a day out in the fresh air! We hope you are able to visit Mary Jo Peckham Park in Katy, TX!
