Today I wanted to share with you all things Sunny Beach, Galveston TX. Keep in mind each suburb, city, and neighborhood has so much to offer. I know that there are so many to choose from in the Houston area, and I know there is one that perfectly fits your needs. WHY PEOPLE LOVE SUNNY BEACH IN GALVESTON TX

Where is Sunny Beach:

Sunny Beach is a small beach-front subdivision developed in the 1960's on the Gulf side of FM 3005 at 8 mile Road, a mile west of the Seawall. This community was West Galveston’s first beachfront subdivision, the closest development of single-family beach houses to 61st Street.

Why folks choose Sunny Beach:

Sunny Beach is a beach-front community located in Galveston, Texas. Majority of the homes in Sunny Beach were developed before 1997, though construction has continued in recent years. All homes at Sunny Beach are single-family residences. The neighborhood has a laid-back atmosphere, with a voluntary neighborhood association that charges minimal dues and no maintenance fees.

Amenities in Sunny Beach:

Sunny Beach features amazing nearby amenities! Galveston Beach Pocket Park #1 is next to Sunny Beach, and Beach Pocket Park #2 is a little more than a mile to the west. Both are public beaches managed by the city. Moody Gardens Municipal Golf Course, Schlitterbahn Water Park, and Moody Gardens Amusement Park are only 5 miles to the east from home for more fun in the sun.

District Rating:

B | Galveston ISD is B rated and is a public school district in Texas, established in 1884, that serves nearly 7,000 students. Its 12 schools of choice campuses consist of traditional and theme-based schools, charter schools, STEM programs, magnet schools, and a mega-magnet high school. The district’s mission is to Educate, Engage and Empower EACH student for a life of Excellence. Galveston ISD is proud to announce that the district has been awarded a rating of ‘A’ for ‘Superior Achievement’ regarding the quality of its financial management and reporting system. The Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) has given Galveston ISD the highest possible score of 100 for the 2020-2021 school year.

Galveston Island is one of the oldest cities in Texas, filled with rich history and endless adventure. Residents can enjoy 32 miles of pristine beaches, boutique shopping, and some of the best local dining. Sea Isle Supermarket is just minutes from home for all your necessities. Make Pleasure Pier amusement park your weekend destination; enjoy the rides, games, and nostalgic carnival treats. Discover Schlitterbahn Water Park and historic Moody Gardens, also located on the Island, and you'll never run out of places to go or things to do.
