Today I wanted to share with you all things Bay Harbor, Galveston TX. Keep in mind each suburb, city, and neighborhood has so much to offer. I know that there are so many to choose from in the Houston area, and I know there is one that perfectly fits your needs. WHY PEOPLE LOVE BAY HARBOR IN GALVESTON TX

Where is Bay Harbor:

Bay Harbor is located in Galveston Island, Texas. Bay Harbor is on Galveston’s West End with homes on the Gulf side of FM 3005, but most are between FM 3005 and Galveston Bay. This neighborhood is located just 7.2 miles West of Jamaica Beach.

Why folks choose Bay Harbor:

Bay Harbor is full of history, beginning as a commercial enterprise whose settlers envisioned a port to rival Galveston in the early 1800s. By the 1940s is when homes began to be built, giving them a unique beautiful style. Many have been updated since and if you're fast enough, you may even get the chance to grab the new construction homes. Bay Harbor is sought out for it's vacation feel, proximity to various beaches, and diverse food options.

Amenities in Bay Harbor:

Bay Harbor has outstanding amenities and being on an Island is just one of their many benefits! Residents have access to a fishing pier and boat ramp. Little Free Library is a newer project for residents. Great for all ages, anyone is free to borrow a book and go enjoy it on the beach! Neighbors have came together to create the Garden Club. They meet a few times a year and focus on how to keep their community as clean as possible!

District Rating:

B | Galveston ISD is B rated and is a public school district in Texas, established in 1884, that serves nearly 7,000 students. Its 12 Schools of Choice campuses consist of traditional and theme-based schools, charter schools, STEM programs, magnet schools, and a mega-magnet high school. The district’s mission is to Educate, Engage and Empower EACH student for a life of Excellence. Galveston ISD is proud to announce that the district has been awarded a rating of ‘A’ for ‘Superior Achievement’ regarding the quality of its financial management and reporting system. The Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) has given Galveston ISD the highest possible score of 100 for the 2020-2021 school year.

Galveston is filled with rich history and adventure. Residents can enjoy 32 miles of beaches, amusement parks, boutique shopping, and some of the best local dining. Near Bay Harbor is Moody Gardens Public Golf Course, Public Fishing piers, Magic Carpet Putt Putt Golf, Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark, The Sandbar Grille, The Pointe, The West End Marina and Restaurants, Sea Isle Supermarket, Seven Seas Grocery and more!
