Children's Museum Houston | LINK
Located in the heart of Houston there is a world- class interactive exhibit and museum which is exciting and fun! It's 90,000 square feet of interactive and bilingual exhibitions in the areas of science and technology, history and culture, heath and human development, and the arts. Available to infants for motor skills classes to toddler- 7+ years old, going through the different exbibits here you can play and walk with your child through kidtropolis where kids can run their own city, and an Ecostation to explore the outdoors in a solar-powered research pavilion. With all the bright lights and things to do you will spend hours here building, learning, and having fun!

Houston Museum Of Natural Science | LINK
With a variety of permanent exhibitions & interchanging ones as well, you’ll be entertained all day. It’s home to the Cockrell Butterfly Center, Dinosaur Hall, the planetarium, and I-Max theatre, Hall of African Wildlife, and a few more interesting exhibits. Make sure to check their website for different events and featured exhibits!

A one of a kind museum featuring 40 different interactive art exhibits that’ll have you snapping pictures the whole time. This place makes you feel like you’ve entered a whole new world full of color & excitement. It’s hard to put just how magical this place is into words, it’s a must experience kind of place!

If you’ve ever wanted to go to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory then this is the place to go. There’s over a dozen different interactive exhibits, some even made out of actual candy, that look like they came straight out of Candy Land, you’ll be snapping Instagram worthy pictures the whole time. There’s candy in each room that you can eat, giant swings & marshmallow pits, and a special app to download that lets you take green screen photos & pics from the ceiling. It’s such a vibrant & happy place, it just has to be experienced.

Houston Holocaust Museum | LINK
The Houston Holocaust Museum located in the Lester and Sue Smith Campus, is a three story building in remembrance of the 6 million Jews and other innocent victims and also honoring the legacy of the survivors from the tragic event. A place to use this horrible event to use the lessons of the Holocaust and other genocides, teaching the dangers of hatred, prejudice and apathy.

The Health Museum | LINK
A museum of health & medical science that has some very cool interactive displays centered around the human body. They're dedicated to educating the public on health & the human body, and has all types of exhibits, real organ dissections, science mini classes, and so much more.

The Museum of Fine Arts | LINK
One of the largest museums in the United States, this distinct campus & sculpture garden features notable art from antiquity to today, as well as films & educational programs. They have around 70,000 works of art created all around the world.

Contemporary Arts Museum Houston | LINK
Located in the Museum District of Houston and founded in 1948, this museum is dedicated to showcasing the very best and most exciting international, national, and regional art of our time. They are “non-collecting” so the exhibits are always changing.

The Menil Collection | LINK
This is a stunning museum with approximately 17,000 paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings, photographs and rare books. They have exhibits showcasing art from all over the world, from the Paleolithic era to today. The owner is dedicated to giving people access to amazing art, so admission is always free.

National Museum of Funeral History | LINK
I know a museum about funerals may sound odd, but this place is actually pretty interesting & educational. This 35,000 square foot museum contains all sorts of artifacts & relics that aim to educate the public on death care & it's history. They have America’s largest collection of authentic, historical funeral service items, vintage hearses, and even items from celebrities & public figures funerals.
