Hi there, today I'd like to share with y'all some fun ways to spend your time in Humble, TX. Whether you're looking to relocate or visiting soon, you’ll be sure to find plenty of things to enjoy on this list!
Places to Experience in Humble
–Cypress Trails Equestrian Center: This equine center is full of scenic trails to take in while riding a well trained, beautiful horse. You can go solo or in a group, just make sure to make your reservations ahead of time. They also off private parties!
–Mercer Botanic Gardens: You'll want to take plenty of pictures once you get here and see how magical it is. It's 60 acres full of colorful & exotic plant life, ponds & waterfalls, walking trails and playgrounds for children. The atmosphere here is so serene!
–Green Oaks Tavern: This bar inside an old courthouse from 1928 is most known for its gigantic oak tree in the middle of their outdoor patio, and at night it's lit up with green twinkle lights, hints the name ‘Green Oaks Tavern'. They have frequent live music so check their website in advance to see who's playing!
–Urban Air: Both kids & adults are sure to enjoy this indoor trampoline park that has dodgeball, obstacle courses, rock walls and tube playgrounds for the younger children. There's arcade games and a cafe inside as well!
–Old Macdonald's Farm: You can't go to Humble without visiting this farm filled will all types of animals and activities, it's been a staple in Humble for 30 years. There's many types of animals to interact with, train rides, pony rides, and photo galleries all throughout the farm. Check there calendar online for their many seasonal events!
Restaurants in Humble
–Chez Nous: Upscale French restaurant in what used to be an old church, very classic & timeless interior.
–Black Bear Diner: Traditional southern food with a log cabin style atmosphere.
–Asian City Restaurant: Japanese & Chinese cuisine with hibachi seating options, Asian garden outside with coy ponds & waterfalls.
–Patron Grill: Mexican food, family owned & local favorite. Very colorful, fun environment.
–Captain Craw: Seafood, offers non seafood options as well. Great prices and very highly rated.
Parks in Humble
–Jesse H. Jones Park: 312 acre park with white sand beaches and 16 miles of paved trails full of history. It contains century old cypress trees and the 1830's Redbud Hill Homestead, along with a nature learning center, turtle pond, and guided canoe tours!
–Lindsay Lyons Park: 136 acre park & sports center. They offer lighted baseball, softball, football and soccer fields and plenty of barbecues, tables and pavilions for when you want to relax. There's an extremely large playground for children there too!
–Schott Park: This park is 24 acres in size, has covered picnic tables, a big playground and a 1 mile walking trail. It's on the smaller side so it's a bit more quiet and relaxing. They host the Living Well Farmer's Market monthly here!
–Hirsch Memorial Park: This 4 acre park dates back to 1944. It has a swimming pool, 2 basketball courts and 2 tennis courts, and most recently they built a brand new park for the kids to enjoy!
