With the weather still near unbearable, but school in session, the swimming pool season has come to an end, so I know neighborhood spraygrounds and splash pads are on your mind. Today I have put together a list of the five local splash pads.
- May Valley Sprayground – 11598 May Valley Circle, 77354 – This splash pad is open to the public. Operates March 1st until October 31st.
- Timarron Sprayground – 550 North Green Print Circle, 77375 – This splash pad is open to the public. It is one of the most popular and probably the largest of the splash pads. Operates March 1st until October 31st.
- Sawmill Sprayground – 2200 Millpark Drive, 77380 – This splash pad is connected to the swimming, but open to the public if the pool is closed. Operates March 1st until October 31st.
- Shadowbend Sprayground – 4995 Lake Woodlands Drive, 77381 – This splash pad is connected to the swimming, but open to the public if the pool is closed. Operates March 1st until October 31st.
- Village Green Sprayground – 26400 Kuykendahl Drive, 77389 – This splash pad (and all-weather turf field) is located near the neighborhood of Creekside, right next to HEB, and is surrounded by restaurants, a candy store, an ice cream shop, shopping, and more. Operates March 1st until October 31st.
- Market Street Sprayground – 9595 Six Pines Drive – This splash pad is newly renovated and located in Market Street. It is one of the most popular splash pads, due to the fact that it is surrounded by shopping, restaurant, and housing an all-weather turf field and fun yard games. Operates March 1st until October 31st.
