Here at Jo & Co., we love exploring the surrounding areas and we just found a new spot in Spring, TX! There is the “common bond” between people and cultures and that one thing is… the love of food!
In this charming cafe, you step into a world of all things bright colors and tasty bites. I'd say if you need to put a pep back into your step, just walk right on in and grab yourself a few colorful macarons, a vanilla scone or a croissant. It's a calming atmosphere the moment you walk in, with the serene ambiance, kind workers and a bright, well lit inside with floor to ceiling windows. One of the best things is the location of Common Bond! Located right in the heart of City Place, by a great outdoors space right across the street.
Common Bond is known for its bakery and pastries and you'll know why when you visit and all their bakery items are vegetarian. Offering croissants, scones, muffins, kugelhopf, kouign amann, and a varity of breads, you will want to grab one of these for a nice little snack in the morning. They also offer cookies, macarons, vegan gingersnap, oatmeal cream pie, tarts, brownies, cakes and gateau! Make sure to order some coffee or tea to pair with your pastries!
Alongside the pastries, they do serve breakfast during the week along with lunch and dinner. And their better known menu is their all brunch on the weekends! Some things you'll find on the breakfast menu are lox tartine and croque madame along with more classic dishes like biscuits & gravy and fresh yogurt with granola and berries. Lunch and dinner include sandwiches, soups, salads, flatbreads and specialties that include a spring risotto and pan seared tuna.
Around the corner from the entrance you'll see their chic, modern bar fitted with velvet high-top chairs. Who doesn't love to feel fancy sitting in velvet high-top chairs!? The bar menu offers wine, cocktails, craft cocktails, and beer for drinks and some food options such as sliders, shrimp, pretzel bites and flatbreads to enjoy. They also have a Frozé machine for all the Rosé lovers! The host happy hour during the weekdays from 4pm-6pm to come and relax after work.
