We are under contract!!

Y'all, I want to scream it from the roof tops..

WE ARE UNDER CONTRACT!!

We have just put the last initial and executed the offer we submitted on The Tudor, and I am so excited to share a picture I took the other day when we went to go see it. The online pictures aren't that great, otherwise I would share those too. In a few hours, we are going to take a few of our kids to take a look (the girls are already at their dad's for the weekend, and our oldest son is away in the Army) at it, and I will try to remember to film a video for you!

We are now in the truck on the way to the house. It is about 5pm and rush hour is in full swing. Remember it is a Friday. Kids and the hubs are content with snacks, and I am just giddy that things are working out so far.

Title and the lender have the contract in hand. Option fee check is in the glove box, and the earnest check is also ready for delivery.

We haven't visited the house but once. And supposedly it will have a new roof, and the trim should be all neutralized. I am excited to see the home a little more in the blank slate direction. There are so many things we want to do to the home. Refinish the hardwood floors, stencil the concrete like tile that surrounds the house as a wrap-around patio floor, replace the kitchen counter tops, replace the cabinet hardware, update the fireplace and mantle, paint like the whole place, cut down and trim some bushes and trees, and so much more.
